Question about date on death record

In the death record below, the death was reported on 22 March 1893. But where I think it would state the actual date of death (the part that reads "quali mi hanna dichiarato che a ore... di ...) I am not sure what the word veris means. Is is a reference to the date already mentioned? Thank you!
