Today, Connecticut clean bill HB6105 was signed into law by Governor Ned Lamont! We congratulate the lead advocates at Access Connecticut, who will advise on the application process soon. Public Act 21-21 goes into effect on July 1st. Connecticut is now the 10th state, following New York at 9th, with a policy of unrestricted access to original birth certificates for all adult adoptees!
