Effects of turning off Display Temple in Settings
In teaching non-members, I would like to turn off the option to display temple ordinances in my Family Tree. If I do, will it affect my temple reservation list or reserved ordinances?
Is it a problem to turn that on and off as I train different groups?

Dear Sheryl, Turning this feature on and off only affects what is seen as you show or share your screen.. It does not affect other settings. This is the purpose of the feature.. 😀
For others interested in this feature the link below is from the Help Centre (?)
How do I hide ordinance data in Family Tree?

What some people do, depending on what they think is easiest to keep track of, is create a second Family Tree account in which when asked if you are a member, you just click "no."
Then they don't have to remember to turn the temple function on and off, but they do have to remember a second account and password.
One advantage of having a second account is that it will not have any of your private individuals so you don't have to worry about accidentally throwing up on a screen private information that the group you are training really doesn't need to see.

Having a second Family Search account can be useful. May I also suggest a way to avoid adding an excess of living people (duplicates) except of course yourself. Go to your settings and set the starting person as one of you first deceased ancestors, using that persons ID.
