Transcription and translation of letters - 1804-1805
Hi
I am looking to have parts of letters transcribed and translated. These are in high-german, written by Danish officers, from the period 1804-1805. The letters are written in gothic cursiv. I am skilled in transcribing scandinavian languages, but for german several issues come in the way. Common german letter combinations that differ from danish / norwegian ones, the archaic syntax and probable misspellings, and the fact that my german language skills are rudimentary make that the text doen't "speak" to me. It is also very difficult to guess and use trial and error as I can never be sure about what is mispelling of wrong transcription and so on.
There are around 18 letters, the parts i need transcribed are approx. 20-100 words per letter. I don't need the text and line jumps transcribed 100% as it is written, archaism and misspellings should be corrected to standart german or be translated so I can make sense out of it. If somebody is up for the challenge i can send you some of the letters. Solid transcription and language competences from around that time are probably necessary, as my German contacts themselves have difficulties to give sense to the texts. If someone has the skills to do this quickly and better than myself i would be willing to pay for the work.
Danke!
As an exemple i am enclosing one of the letters now, the part marked in red is the one i need. Not sure if the second paragraph of the two is relevant for me though.

@thomasmoine1 we are so glad you have joined our community - It is a great place to get help and to help others! We have a lot of talented, experienced participants here.
Be sure to review the links at the top of our community page for some great resources - we add new ones as we find them.
We look forward to hearing from you. Most of the time, it is best to "ask a question" - do this by selecting the arrow to the right of "new discussion". Asking a question allows you to accept the answer or let us know you would like more help. (I was able to change this post to a question for you.)
This reply to you will show as a rejected answer - I mark it this way so that your post will still show as a question and not show as answered because my reply does not answer your question, it just offers you some ideas.
Thanks for being patient as we wait for a response to come from a volunteer with the needed skill set. It would be good if you included the identification number of this person in Family Search Family Tree so we can see the bigger picture.
We look forward to your comments and questions.
Enjoy today! Cindy Jarvis
