Help Finding Records for Dronningborg, Randers, Denmark

Can someone help me find records for Dronningborg from the 1860s and 1870s? We have a birth record from 1868 that says the father was Dronningborg near Randers. The FamilySearch Catalog only has civil registration records from the 1920s to 1960s. Danish FamilySearch has church books from the 1950s to the 1960s. https://www.danishfamilysearch.com/sogn1093

Dronningborg, Gimming and Randers City were all part of the same pastorat, so you probably should look in Gimming and Randers City for the records you want. Hopefully, you will find him in Gimming because Randers City has four parishes to look through. (See Randers County in the Family Search Wiki: https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/Randers_County,_Denmark_Genealogy).

You might be able to find him in Danish Family Search which is a great site for searching for people in Denmark. https://www.danishfamilysearch.com/

    Hello @Robert M. Call ,

According to Danish Wikipedia Dronningborg was created from Sankt Mortens parish in Randers city, see https://da.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dronningborg_Sogn. Look for your person in the 1860 or 1870 Danish national censuses living in Randers city. Also, if you are pursuing military levying rolls the district number (udskrivningskreds) is 4 and the lægd number is 427 see https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/Randers:_Military_L%C3%A6gd_Numbers_after_1870.

    Hope this helps,

    Geoff
