Publio Ferrari (born 1866?) from Verona and lived in Torino
Hello everyone,
I am at a HUGE brick wall. Please help!
I know that Publio was Ceasar's father, and I know I know Ceasar's birth date (1911) and where born (Torino), marriage date, to who, and where, and death date (1983) and where. I know Ceasar's sibling first names and birth years and think they were also born in Torino. I also know Publio was married to Rosina Lomonaco and I have Rosina's birth date (1888) and location (Mazara del Vallo, Trappani, Sicily) and death date (1943, Paris). I can find absolutely NOTHING on Publio except what I posted in my question above and that he left his estate to Alice Matthieu, born 1889 from Grenoble, France, (second wife?) and that Publio's parents are Cesare Ferrari and Maddalena Masiero.
I have gone through every link on the Italian Wiki and am wondering if Publio (or his father Cesare?) changed names or spellings or wasn't honest about where he was from, etc.? How can I determine Publio's full name or birth date or death date? How can I find any documents on Publio? How can I find Publio's sibling information or more on his parent information?
Thank you for any and all tips!

I would try searching the Ferrari name in South America and see where it leads you. There were several Auguste and Augusto Ferraris in New England as well.

South America is a place to start. There is a little information on Publio Ferrari in Family Search and on Ancestry, but it is sketchy and the documentation isn't great. I really hope someone in the group who knows more about this area of Italy and the records available will be able to help you. As for Augusto, he may still be living so records will be harder to find as they will not have been released for indexing. You might try writing for Publio's birth record, if you can prove a direct relationship. On the Family Search Wiki page there are form letters at the bottom to help you write for records.

There were several Ferrari families who immigrated to South America and to the United States between 1880 and 1950. I wonder if starting with some of those families and tracing backward might be helpful.
