Translation help please
Below is an excerpt of church baptismal records from the Urphar area. The record is from Archion at this link https://www.archion.de/de/viewer/?no_cache=1&type=churchRegister&uid=191329 , image 25, left side at the top. I would love some help translating this. I believe that the name Christoph Kuhn is in this record? Thank you.

You're welcome, @DawnVanderwolf. No, I don't speak German but after many years of studying these records as well as a concerted effort to learn the German handwritten characters, I am able to translate birth, marriage, and death records. It's a continual learning process which is why I like to answer questions on the German community site. I have seen much worse handwriting than in this record.
Please note: In looking at this record again, I noticed that both the child's name and the godfather's name is: Willhelm (a double "l" at the beginning). This is simply a variant spelling of "Wilhelm". I edited my original response to you to reflect this spelling.

Thank you @Robert Seal_1 - is German your native language? The handwriting on these records is so bad, I would think you'd have to have a lot of practice with it to understand it.

One more follow-up for you @Robert Seal_1 - and please tell me if I'm imposing on your kindness! I found what appears to be Willhelm's death record. It was also in the Urphar church records on Archion, and based on my comparison of handwriting between the baptism record you translated for me in this thread, it looks like it says something like "the son of Christoph Kuhn ... Willhelm." I can't figure out the rest of the words, though. The record is dated 8 May 1737:
Do you have any thoughts on my guess here?

Hello @DawnVanderwolf,
No, don't worry, you are not imposing.
This record is a tough one. I do see the name Christoff Kuhn, but tell me (which line and perhaps the word number in that line) where you see "Wilhelm".
Also, going back to Wilhelm's birth record above, what was the year of his birth?
Thanks,
Robert Seal _1

Willhelm's birth was in 1732. Here is where I was thinking I saw the word Willhelm in the death record:

Hi again, Dawn,
I read that word as "welches", rather than "Wilhelm".
Here is what I think I read in the first part of the record:
on the 8th of May [1737] died Christoff Kuhn, child?, 3 years, 11 weeks old, who was mute? and . . . [the remainder of this record I can't decipher].
Comments:
In my translation above, the original word "welches" is represented by the word "who". It can also mean "which".
If you subtract 3 years, 11 weeks from the death date of 8 May 1737, you get a birth date for this child of mid-February 1734. So, it can't be the child, Wilhelm, who was born in November 1732.
It's also possible that the way the record is written, it is saying that the child of Christoff Kuhn died, and the child is not named in the record. But I don't see the possessive grammatical case in this record which would indicate that interpretation.
Since this record is "buried" in this long string of messages, it's likely other community volunteers will not see it. I would suggest you post this record as a new request for translation and perhaps another community volunteer will be able to translate the entire record for you. I'd like to see a complete translation of the record as well.
I hope this helps you out.
Best regards, Robert Seal_1
