Tanner- I don't seem to be finding Gothenburg in Riksarkivet. I looked in wiki and read what the county was in1700 thru 1800s and now called but not finding the parish for 1800 records. Thank you much.​

Heidi- I put Göteborg in the parish space and it brings up several church archives. Is it a hunt and search to find right one?​

In Varnum it says that Eric Höggre is a soldier and artillerist (gunner) in Göteborg, thus it is most likely that they moved to Göteborgs Garnisonsförsamling. If not there, then look from Göteborgs Gustavi eller Domkyrkoförsamling
