We are trying to understand how Gustaf obtained the last name of Ericsson. His mother is Helen Nilsdotter. He is oakta (illigitimate). This household survey has him with last name of Ericsson.     The note says "Confirm(ed in 18)47. He is the illegitimate son of Helena Nilsd(otte)r". Sorry, nothing about his father.
