Translation help. Trying to find occupation of Gustaf Eriksson Ekelof

What is the translation of the words before his name? Does it give his occupation? We are assuming Ekelof is a trade name. Does this seem correct?

    I believe the word is "Kustvakter man" which translates as "Coast guard man". Not sure if Ekelöf is a trade name or not.
