Confirmation of Translation - Baptism of Rene Chartier 26 Jul 1625

Hi all,

I would like to know if this is the baptism record for Rene Chartier, and if so, could someone please translate it. I have conflicting information, but if this is the actual record, then I could update what I have.

I had that he was born in 1621. I also have his parents as Pierre Chartier and Martine Bouchet.

Hello Margie,

I am not good with Latin or French and this record is particularly difficult to read, but I don't see a match for Mother's name in the document and the year is way off from what you have so I wonder if this is another Rene' Chartier. It is a common name in France.

I have not replied to your request, hoping someone with more expertise could assist you.

If you do not receive translation help soon, please repost as a question and just ask for a translation. When I look at the record I am already looking for specific names based on your information. I am not sure but this may be one of those times when you will get more help with fewer details.
