Malawi records
The FS wiki says that the civil records for Malawi include 0-5% of African citizens. Is there any way of helping a friend from Malawi find information about her grandparents on her deceased father's side? She has the names but not much else.

I went to this part of the wiki for Malawi https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/Malawi_Genealogy Is this where you went. This may be some difficult if all your friend has is names.
Genealogy records are kept on the local level in Malawi.
Malawi is divided into 28 districts within three regions.
If she can find out any additional information, it will aid her in her search. If not, it may be a lot of research into finding them. I would start at the link I added and go from there. Good luck with your search.

@HeiseltMelissaJean1 In the resources on this page there is a link for online resources for Malawi. Perhaps your friend you have been trying to help might be able to get the information she is seeking there.
