How can I get this information?

    Hi!

I have been researching my family tree for a few years now on the Family Search site. I have come across my Great Grandfather who died at the age of 55 in 1922. Young even for that time. He is listed in several sources as a painter but when I found his death certificate it has his name, address, that he was married and the signature of the registrar, but nothing else is filled out. Is there someplace on the Family Search site that I can look for obituaries from 1922 which may have the cause of death?

Thanks for any suggestions on what to do next!

    Dennis

This is a supplementary certificate, which implies the existence of an earlier certificate nearer the date of death. Look for it in the same collection.

One reason why a second certificate would be needed is if the person died away from home and their name, address, etc. were not available at the time of the first certificate.
