Help Translating Entry 8
Hi! I have begun to be able to recognize names in some of these old records, but between the handwriting and language barrier, I can't make this one out almost at all. Can someone help me, please? I'd love to get all of the information possible from it as it could lead me back another generation. Supposedly it is a baptism for Peder Thomsen. I see a few names (Else Pedersdatter, Jens Pedersen, Jens Nielsen, Soren Madson, Thomas Poulson) and places (Horsens, Saltum, Vissing) but I can't make out which places belong to who and how anyone is related (including father, mother, and child). Oh, and is there a date there? The year is 1787. Thank you so much! I always appreciate all of the help I get!

Last item first. The date is Dom 10. I have to assume that it means Dom 10 p. Trintity- the 10th Sunday after Trinity which in 1787 would be the 12th of August.
The record is saying that the alleged father is undoubtedly Thomas Poulsen, a dance master(??), in Horsens. I think there is other information about him but I can't quite make it all out, so I am going to see if @Tanner Blair Tolman or @Charlotte Noelle Champenois will help with this.

Hi @annesampson ,
The entry reads:
Entry Number 8, Dominica 10 post Trinitatis which converts to 12 August 1787, was baptized Else Pedersdatters child born out of wedlock called Peder. Carried to the baptismal font by the school masters daughter of Wissing. Godparents were Jens Pedersen, Jens Nielsen, Jens Pederson, and Søren Madsons maid servant. The childs father was said to be Thomas Poulson without a doubt a dance master in Horsens where it happened. It is without a doubt the 3rd time this woman has given birth.

Wow! Thank you so much! That's a lot of great information. So kind of both of you to take the time to do that for me! @Morris Geoffrey Fröberg @Norm Baker
