Ward Plan
Aloha. Our ward is creating a new ward plan and as a TFH Consultant we are looking for ways to get our adults involved in TFH work.
What are you doing to involve adult members or create an excitement in them to do their own FH work? Especially the older adults who are not tech savvy and do not have computers or smart phones?
Any activities to spark their enthusiasm to do the work and a desire to do their own FH work?
Your help is greatly appreciated.

@Rayella A Perez You can find some good ideas at https://www.familysearch.org/discovery/
A wide variety of activities for all ages and circumstances. And I like that these help us remember that there are many ways to feel the Spirit of Elijah and turn our hearts to our families.

A fun way is to get them to write their own personal histories and have them add pictures to it. It will be fun for them to think about the activities they did as they were younger and will be priceless for their children and grandchildren. They can record it and have someone type it up for them. Here are some ideas taken from RootsTech that might be able to spark memories to help engage in their stories.
Your Story
FamilySearch
Your story matters right now!
- Share a story from your life—consider writing it in your journal or preserving it on FamilySearch.
- Start a personal history or make a quick life sketch of significant events in your life to date.
- Record significant events, decisions, and miracles in your life over the past year.
- Create a photobook of your favorite memories with family and friends, memorable adventures, and learning experiences.
- Consider asking your family's permission and simply recording a conversation around mealtime as you eat together—consider preserving it on FamilySearch.
