My mother works with many family lines in New Mexico and I asked her to help. She was able to find Santos’ mothers name: Paula Candalaria from the shared webtrees of the Hispanic Geneological Society. I found that same web tree share and had discovered Santo's mother's name. However, I have hit a brick wall in proceeding further on Santos. I have checked several sources but still at a brick wall. Hola Fermin, Have you tried the census records for 1823 and 1829 in New Mexico (see FamilySearch catalog)? If your great grandparents were Roman Catholic, check the FamilySearch Catalog for the collection of baptismal and marriage records. If you have no success there, you might try writing to the Archdiocese of Santa Fe, New Mexico to see if they can suggest where you could find the baptismal and marriage records for your time frame of interest. The baptismal and marriage records of the time will almost certainly show the parents and grandparents of Santos or of his children, at least they do in the rest of the hispanic world.
