Michael Baszala ID G9GG-F3F Looking to verify if the birth/christening I was given by another to se
entry 13. It does not look like a complete record and I can't see a clear name. I found it b/c of the date I was given and the mother's name I can read. I have not found a death for him and the name was reused in 1864 and then again after that Michael died in 1868. The only one in the 1869 census is the 1868 person. You will also notice in that census there is an Istvan listed as born 1856. I have not found his birth in that christening source.GS78-MBV Other ppl on ancestry have this 1856 Michael listed with no sources. They also do not have the Istvan (stephen) listed at all as if they did not find him either.
It is a brick wall for me right now. Very confusing. See the life sketches and collaborate sections. What do you think??

Yes, I have noticed this. In the source I sent, is there a name that goes with it? Is it Michael? I have seen on different ancestry trees ppl have invited me to the name Michael and also a person independent of an ancestry shared tree that says it is Michael. In familysearch I have Michael 1856 = ID G9GG-F3F. I also have who I named Stephanus = ID GS78-MBV , but I only have the date from the 1869 census to go by. This verification of Michael 1856 is my 1st hurdle. Thank you..Once known, I can ask other questions in this family. Thank you

No it is not Michael. It's written in Russian alphabet and it is Stefan (Stephan).

Thank you. Just that I completely understand --this source is for Stefan Baszala? His father was Georgius Baszala and mother Anna Danyko. Sorry for the extra step, but I want to be sure I have asked everything correctly enough for the answer to be my Stefan Baszala ID GS78-MBV before I do anything online at familysearch. Thank you.

Date of birth: May 1, 1856. Baptism: May 2, 1856
Parents are Georgij Basala and Anna Danyko.

Thank you!! Now, for this Stefan, ID GS78-MBV ..I heard from another that his death info is somehow connected to his wife's file. Saying she is a widow and a date....

Way over on the right there is a comment which I can't read. This person believes that this info is about Stefan Baszala, but I sure am not sure. Why would it be there? I thought maybe it refers to a parent of hers or her??

This info is about Barbara. It's written in Latin and this is written there:
"Exc. nupturiens qua vidua in Hüvész habitans 1906 20 Julii".
I think (but I am not 100% sure) it means that she was married for the second time in Hüvész (Lúčina) on July 20 1906. Unfortunatetly there are no records available from this time (year 1906) online to verify it. It also does not say who she married to.
But at least you know that Stefan died before July 20 1906.
