Need help reading a probate

I have (miraculously) found the Probate for Peter Jacobson Liljeström who died 25 Feb 1797, leaving Sisela Jönsdotter a widow. I´ve looked through it and found all the names I could and I need some help with the details. (links below)

 

Elna-- Peter´s dotter Elna does not seem to have a husband mentioned -- is that correct, is she not married? I don't see that she has signed anywhere. She is 25; is that considered "of age"? It doesn't look like someone assigned to be her guardian . . .

On the last page of the probate, in the last row with a money amount, what are the words after her name? What does it say about Elna in the very last paragraph?

 

Hanna-- Hanna is married to Anders Johansson. Later, I think it says " . . . broder son Hanna laborer Johan Gabriel Emanuelsson i Boarp" Is Gabriel, Peter Liljestom's brother? Or the son of her husband?

 

There is a Peter Nilsson and a Nils Pahlsson mentioned -- are they the appraisers?

 

Katrina -- is she married?

In looking at this estate inventory, I see the preamble says that Petter Liljeström was living at Björkelund. He died on 25 February, 1797 and was survived by his beloved wife Sisela Jonsdotter “utan några bröstarfingar” meaning without biological heirs from the (most) recent marriage but from the previous marriage (doesn't mention previous wife's name) he mentions:

 

• Jakob (Liljeström) of Riseberga hus

 

• Hanna (the oldest daughter) married to borgaren (citizen of a town) Anders Johansson of Björkelund

 

• Katrina 28 years old, employed by major Cräck..? of Månstorp. Katrina is not married.

 

• Elna 25 years old in employment in Malma? Elna is not married. Unmarried women did not get independent legal standing until 1856 when they had to be 25 or older and with approval by the local court.

 

In behalf of the minor children is the deceased’s (Petter’s) brothers son Åboen (tenant farmer) Johan Gabriel Emanuelsson in Bonarp, with Åboen Pähr Nilsson of ?..dlanda and Peter Nilsson of Ljungbo? and Nils Påhlsson of Holmana. This is first estate inventory that I’ve seen where the name of the heirs, names of guardians, and indebted persons who have made claims, were written next to items in the inventory. The bottom paragraph of page 819 is legal jargon referring to the laws of inheritance.

 

Page 829 at the top shows the rights to 16 Riksdaler 32 Skilling for Katrina and Elna was protected by their brother in-law Anders Johansson. Sisela Jonsdotter signed her initials SJD in the middle of the page. Anders Johansson (married to Hanna), Jacob Liljeström, Petter Nilsson, Pähr Nilsson, Johan Emanuelsson, and Nils Påhlsson all signed.

 

The assessors were Jäppa Pährsson and Åke? Månsson

 

Last page, at the top is written the word Credit followed by a list of people and amounts of money. I’m not totally sure what the legal process was here. The widows right, morgongåva, and other unsecured assets came to 71 riksdaler, 45 skilling, and 1 runstycken. Then the son Jacob and daughters Hanna, Katrina, and Elna are listed with their amounts of unsecured assets. I guess unsecured assets refers to inheritance that has not been liquidated into money because there has not been an auction. Until it’s liquidated and people receive their amount, it could be squandered. The bottom paragraph on the last page looks like it was added later on 8 June 1797. It mentions the minor daughters Katrin (written poorly) and Elna and further on an amount of forty-one (written in words) and then 42 Riksdaler (which is the combined Riksdaler of Katrin and Elna from the credit section. I guess it’s part of the settlement.
