I would like help on this christening record. It's the second one from the bottom on the left side of the page: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QS7-8944-X6M7?i=51

I know that it says that the parents are Niels Christensen and Maren Pedersdatter and they had a daughter Maren Kirstine. It says that someone named Maren carried the baby, I think she is the sister of Niels Christensen? It then says Peder Henrichsen's wife of Bromolle. Is it saying that Maren is the wife of Peder Henrichsen? Or are Maren and Peder Henrichsen's wife 2 different women?

    Hi #[Jeniann Nielsen] ,

This entry reads: No. 12, Festo Johan. Bapt. (Johannes Baptista) is a fixed feast day which converts to June 24, 1752. (Father) Niels Christensen and (Mother) Maren Pedersdatter of Kløws Mølle. A child (brought) to christening and called Maren Kirstine. Her sister Maren carried it (the child) forward (doesn't say whose sister). Peder Henrichsens wife of Bromølle went with (meaning walked forward with the child too). Other godparents (are) Christen Thomsen, Jørgen Ibsen and Mads Svenske (Mads the Swede) all of Kløw.

    Best regards,

    Geoff
