For virtual RootsTech Feb. 25-27, I'll be leading a topic on DNA Interest Groups in a virtual booth
Virtual RootsTech booth description for Feb. 25-27:
DNA Interest Groups
Let’s do good together by helping each other increase our skills working with our DNA results. Special interest groups form to share knowledge with each other. Genealogists who are currently in DNA special interest groups will answer questions from those who are interested in finding a local or virtual group or starting an interest group in their community.
If you're in a DNA Interest Group or have enough experience to answer questions about them, please help in this virtual booth during RootsTech. Email me: mckell11@gmail.com
About me: I'm in Tempe, Arizona (Phoenix metro). I love everything about family history work (except citations, maybe not citations...). I love photographs of ancestors and stories of their lives. I am addicted to working with DNA results. Completely enamored. I am a search angel (volunteer) helping adult adoptees find biological family members and I started a DNA Interest Group in Phoenix several years ago that is going strong. I spoke at RootsTech 2020 about Search Angels and I'll be speaking about Search Angels at the Southern California Genealogy Jamboree June 4-5.
