Sources for Niels Peter Jensen have been attached to Niels Severine Peter Jensen in the FamilySearch tree. This needs to be thoroughly studied MJVH-7W8 I'm fairly certain Grethe Christensen did not marry Niels Severine Peter Jensen as currently seen in the FS tree.

Niels Severin Peter Jensen was christened in Saltum so this conflicts with the 1880 census for Niels Peter Jensen indicating he was born in Skæve.

Thank You iv and Shari,
Your statement is exactly why I am doing this, a cousin has attached the 1880 (& other)as support for Neils Severin Peder Jensen. and the family added to Neils Severin Peder Jensen does not belong to him. I have lost Neils Severin Peder Jensen(the person i am interested in) after the 1870 census, There is an imigration record in the states for a Neils Peder Jensen, with the same birth date as Neils Severin Peder Jensen in Maine.

Sorry, Liv, lost the "L" while typing your name.

Richard, this may be Niels Severin Peder Jensen in a record showing emigration from Hune, Hjørring to Warren Pennsylvania in 1873. I have been working on separating and improving the records for the two men that were inaccurately merged.

Shari, again thanks, you did to him what I was planning to do. I may go a couple more deletions on the sources, 1 in particular is the "My Heritage" source, it references Neils Severin Peder Jensen but shows wife and children which are consistent with Neils Peter Jensen's family.

Yes, excellent. Do you think the above record is a good match? It is difficult to identify Niels S. P. Jensen in the U.S. He is seen on a Naturalization record simply as Niels Jensen. His birth date is our best clue in the U.S. to properly identify him.

I do think it is a match, I wonder if there is any way to connect the two, records the one which identifies birth as 22 Sep 1849, If the two documents are for the same person I would think they are the correct person with out question.

Did you previously write that Niels Severin Peter Jensen is the person you want to study? Is he your family member? If so, how do you connect?

Some interesting record comparisons. The image on the right is thought to be Niels Severine Peter Jensen because the birth date matches. The record on the left is the record we believed could be his Danish emigration. The date dates of emigration ( 1872 and 1884) are not a good match at all. Not sure what to conclude. It is possible there are multiple men born in Denmark named Niels Jensen who are born on the same date of 22 September 1849.
