We are just about to reach 1,000 items collected and tagged in our Early American Needlework "Samplers" collection - many of which contain genealogical information. Most of these have now been "tagged" to the record of the creator or family in FamilySearch Family Tree. Many of them contain genealogical data that may not be found elsewhere.
If any of you have New England ancestors - you may find that your are distantly related to many of the young girls who made these samplers. You can click on "view my relationship" to see how you are connected.
