Looking for LOIS KILBY

Hey @Jim Kilby have you thought of contacting the owner/manager of the trailer park to see if maybe they have old files? Maybe they have some sort of history for that lot that would have Mae and/or Forrest info? I know it’s probably a long shot but worth a couple of phone calls just to see either way.
also, I notice Forrest was cremated and buried at sea... not sure where to look for these kinds of records. I wonder if F. A. G. has a buried at sea section?

There are several inconsistencies in those documents. That was before the day of “white out.” Apparently, back then, “close” was good enough. Did you get the death certificate? I’ll visit the trailer park but I believe it was a house back that became a trailer park.

Strike what I said about the trailer park, I see a unit number.

Yup. I saw that unit # too... ya never know, maybe some nosey gossips family has owned the place for years 😝 and yeah it’s so frustrating when you find a solid record only to question its contents I’ve been searching for Mae E since 6am... haven’t had any luck at all

I phoned this morning and posted my reply. Where did the reply go? I think I need a class on this site.

Have you joined the group How to Use Family Search Community? There are some useful navigation tips in the links on the right hand side.

Yes I’m in that group .. lol and there’s nothing on right or left hand side if you’re using a mobile device (most “extra” stuff you can find if you scroll to the bottom)

Yes, you are correct! I forgot that the links are on the bottom for mobile users. I need to remember this when we share where to find the links.
