Trying to figure out Catharina Ersdtr's (Ersson) birth date. different dates on the Household record
I'm trying to figure out the birth date of this person in Family Search. I got the birth date from Ancestry family trees, but I'm not sure it's correct. There is one household record that puts her date as 23 Feb 1776, and then another that looks like either 3/8 or 8/3 and then another says 9/1776. The tree information seems to state that she was born in Nyhättan, because it looks like the priests put ditto marks on the record. I'm not exactly sure where Nyhättan is, however the FamilySearch Wiki states that Nyhättan is in the Vika Parrish. I couldn't find a birth record of her in that Parrish around that time. I did two records of births of a Catherina in the Grangarde Parrish. I believe the correct date is 16 Sept. 1776. That record states she was born of Eric Errson and Anna Jansdtr of Ludvika brook. Can someone take a look at this and let me know what you think? Are there other places I should look for her birth record?
This is the record of her in my Family Search: https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/G37S-3G4.
I think I should merge the record with this one, but adjust the date to 16 Sept. 1776. I think she was Christened on the 19th. https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/MC3V-F8B.
I've attached all of the records I have on this family at this time.

I think you may have two different people. One has a birth date of 23 Feb 1776 (Grangarde 1795-1805) and the other is 7? Sep or Aug 1776. (Ludvika 1789-1798 & Ludvika 1808-1814)
Those are two distinctly different dates. Not sure that the two individuals in Family Tree are indeed the same either.

Thanks for looking at it. I think the person is the same in the household records, because all of the other information is the same, meaning the parents are the same with the same birth dates and there is a Catharina listed with a 1776 birth date. Do you agree with that? I'm not sure which Catharina is tied to which. I vote for the one born in September, but that doesn't always match the records. Do you think the priest referred to the birth records in the main book and one time listed the February birth date, and then the other time listed the August/September birth date?
