I have no idea, but when I pasted what you had typed into google, it came back suggesting Pont Kenneth, Glamorganshire. It might be worth a try.

You can try the Historic Place Names search on https://historicplacenames.rcahmw.gov.uk/placenames/search
Set recorded name to "Pont" (to pick up all place-names starting "Pont" - do *not* check Exact Match Only).
Then set County to Glamorgan.
I got 244 possibilities! Set the number per page to 50 or else you'll spend more time turning the page than looking... Nothing in the list (which is, or can be, alphabetical) looked like that when I scanned for Pontd-something or Pont-d-something or similar, but you should check.
