I want to get a translation of the marriage record of Tarald Olsen to Kari Pausdatter in Sunndal, Romfo, More og Romsdal county, Norway. Page 185 line 2 on this attached record.

 

1. What is the marriage date? It is 21 March 1845?
2. What is the full name Tarald Olsen and Kari Paulsdatter?
3. I think Tarald is married once before. Does it say anywhere if this is his first or second marriage?
4. Anything else on this record that might be important?

2. Bachelor (He has not been married previously) male servant Tarald Olsen [of] Ørsund [farm] [born in Sunddalen [the Sundal valley, Romfo is a parish in Sundal] he is age 50, his father is Ole. unmarried maiden Kari Poulsdatter [of] Almgjæld [farm] age 39, father Poul. They have both had smallpox (which means they cannot get smallpox again)

This is all that is important. The witnesses to this marriage is: Halvor Olsen of Musgjærd [farm] and Frederik Jensen [of] Mygjærd [farm] then the 3 dates prior to the marriage when the minister announced this forthcoming marriage.
