FYI
.
That, is 'Campaign', of 'FamilySearch', for general INTERNET searches, by the public, that will provide a "Hit", relating to the "Deceased" that are recorded in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.
[ eg. someone, not being a User/Patron, doing a general (eg. 'Google') search ].
.
Which is to entice/bring people to "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' ...
.
Here is the website in 'FamilySearch':
https://ancestors.familysearch.org
.
Find your ancestor in the world's largest shared Family Tree.
We have over a billion unique profiles in our Tree, and growing. See what others have contributed about your ancestors.
.
User/Patrons of "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' CAN (ie. have the right to) "Request" that individuals/persons in their "Ancestral" lines, in "Family Tree", NOT be searchable (through: https://ancestors.familysearch.org ) in a general (eg. 'Google') INTERNET searches by the public.

I don't recognise any of these people as being my family, and how do I open the information for an individual?

When you cannot locate the page on the initial familysearch.org just scroll down to 'blog' and then it is a choice at the bottom of the page.
