With the help of Tamas Ecseki I was able to find my 3G grandparents, Janos Szanyiszlo and Anna Csaji
have found a birth record which could be theirs and a death record for Janos but I am not sure If the records can be verified so I am asking for help with the verification. I believe the marriage record indicates that Anna's fathers name was Istvan but does not give her mothers name or the names of Janos parents or the age of Janos and Anna. The url for the marriage record is
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33S7-9R7S-W6Y?i=223&cc=1554443 it is the first record on the left page. The url for the birth records is
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33SQ-GR7S-43H?i=109&cc=1554443. The birth date for Anna is 17 Mar 1808. I would like a translation of the mothers maiden in this record. The birth date for Janos is 19 Mar 1808. The url for Janos death record is
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33S7-9R7S-7WL?i=463&cc=1554443. The date of death is 23 Nov 1868 and he is 60 years old at the time of death which fits a birth in 1808. Is there a way to verify that these birth and death records actually belong to Janos and Anna? All of these records are written in Hungarian and come from the Velka Ida (formerly Nagy Ida) register in the Kosice Archives in Slovakia.
Thank You

As I see Ersebet Makatur.
About verify, sometimes not easy in case of common names.

As Tamás said, it can be hard to verify it's the right person when all you have is a name. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the 1869 census records for Nagyida are among those that survived, or at any rate, I have been unable to get either the catalog (https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/988636) or the waypoints (https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/1986782) to cough it up.

Hello Julia,
Thank you for the very thorough translation of my 3G grandparent's records, it is very much appreciated.
I understand that Szanyiszlo and Csaji were common surnames in Nagyida and it is difficult to verify these records without additional information. I will have to keep searching for additional information to confirm these records.
Thank You for your efforts.
