Cassandra married Raphele Maffuccio, who was born sometime between 1830-1835 in Monteforte, Cilento, Salerno, Campania, Italy.

The Rossi name is very common in that area of Italy. However Maffuccio does not show up in my searches. Are there other places this couple might have lived? There are some Maffuccios in Clitri which is also in Campania. Could this be the town where Raphele was born?

According to the birth record of their son Francesco, she was about 36 when he was born and Raffaele was about 41, so it's likely they had other children before this. By tracing backward in births you should be able to find their marriage record, which would give her accurate age and parents.

The birth records have two columns; the civil information is on the left and the baptism information provided by the church is on the right. Similarly the marriage record has two columns; the left side is the civil promessa (contract to marry) and is not a marriage, as civil marriage was not an option in the Kingdom of Two Sicilies; and the right side is the church marriage information.

 

If you have problems reading the writing (which is 90% of the issue when reading these records), let me know. I'll put some additional information in my responses to help you along.
