Give Your Ancestors a GIFT for Christmas . . . . IDEA #1
[be sure and click "expand post" ]
No . . . you may not technically be able to meet your ancetsors and give them a gift.
BUT there are numerous ways we can HONOR them and ensure that the memory of them is preserved.
This holiday season - pick a deceased family member and record your memories of them in different ways - especially using FamilySearch Memories.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZQXroQIj6w
This could include: entering a family anecdote in Memories-Stories.
or uploading a photo or life story. Or upload an item a copy of a a genealogical record related to them - such as a Family Bible, or Marriage Certificate etc.
Share such info with other family members.

Thank you so much for all of this info! I for one really appreciate it. And I will use it too.

I had photocopies made of my Grandmother's high school drawings that my Mom kept in a metal box with other cherished things. I bought 6 nice frames and gave them to my sisters as a Christmas present this past year. Mom passed in 2000 and Grandma in 1986. But we can all enjoy Grandma's beautiful drawings in our daily lives.
