I have located my grt Aunt on the 1926 census living in Long lake Kennebec Frontenac. I believe she
I know when she emigrated to Canada and when and where I think she married (North Portal). Both her and her husband were born in England. He served in WW1, was a miner and died 1932 and was buried in Bienfait. She appears twice on the 1926 census! 1) At her husband's address, Bienfait 2) With her daughter at Long Lake Kennebec.
Family myth is that she may have divorced 1st husband.
This daughter was adopted out and it is thought she had another daughter and possibly another marriage.
I have much information on her before 1926 and then nothing.
Any suggestions on what to do now please?

Contact ogs.on.ca which is the Ontario Genealogy Society -now Ontario Ancestors, digitalkingston.on.ca; bac-lac.gc.ca; www.ontariogenealogy.com; http://forebears.io; www.archives.on.ca. Any of these may have records or will answer your query where to look. There are local genealogical societies which may "help" in some manner.

Thank you for your suggestions. I have been trying for a very long time to solve this. Hopefully this information just may do that.
Kind regards

GM Boice. You kindly gave me some tips recently to help with my search for my great aunt. Through one of these contacts I learnt that the address on the transcribed 1926 census was different from the original documents and I was searching in the wrong province.
It seems that he/she had used the first line of the address (Long Lake) and then attached the rest of the address from another list. I now know that there are several Long Lakes in Canada!
After checking the original document the one I am interested in is near Sherwood, Grand Coulee, Sask.
Her name is Clarice Dee and she was living with her daughter with the Chalmers family. I believe she was a domestic servant.
After this census I can find nothing.
Without you advice I would have never have found this error.
Thank you
