Hi, I'm looking for my great-grandfather Giovanni Carlo Gentili. I have no news of the date and place of birth but I know that he was married to Teodora Loviselli, born in Fossombrone in 1830.

I found in the marriage documents of his son Teodoro, who was my great-grandfather, that his son was born in 1855 in Athens and he was living in Genoa. Then I found that his daughter Teresa or Maria Teresa was born in Constantinople in 1853. He must have died young before 1878. The family had moved to Loreto. I'm looking for the rigini of my family. I tried looking up information about Teodora Loviselli, since you have more information about her. This link has good information about how to write for records. Fossombrone, Marche, Pesaro and Urbino, Italy is still a relatively small town. Try writing there for civil records of birth, marriage, etc.
