Please go to FamilySearch settings and enable relationship viewing, so we can see how we are related.

    @Houston, Sandra Lee_1​ A great question to ask and I can understand the confusion. This sounds like a message that someone sent you through FamilySearch messaging because they noticed you added something to a person page in the tree and they want to see how you two are related through this person. You probably have your privacy settings on so that others cannot see how they are related to you. It is our decision to continue messaging with this person, and whether or not to turn on your relationship viewing feature.

    You can do this by going into your personal settings on the FamilySearch page (your picture), choose settings, choose permissions, check the box, then save. Some people love this feature as they get to know other relatives and find links to more family information, and others want their privacy. It is up to you. I am going to move this conversation over to the FamilySearch Family Tree group and they can work with you further if you would like. Have fun!
