I believe it would be a constable who is home with a furlough or leave-of-absence.
Hjem is "home" and permitteret has something to do with "furloughed" or "a leave-of-absence". See here for an 1861 Danish to English dictionary (page 237, right-hand column, near the bottom): https://books.google.com/books?id=S4gCAAAAQAAJ&printsec=frontcover#v=onepage&q&f=false .
I don't know what the "p t" is for.
This record may explain why Laurs' surname was changed from Mortensen to Sørensen. The mother, Ane Marie Simonsdatter is still working for Morten Lund. It may have been discovered that Søren Nielsen Lund was the father of both children. That makes sense, but it is only a guess.

From this 1840 census for Åby parish, it looks like Morten and Søren were brothers: https://www.danishfamilysearch.com/cid3575404 . Notice that the farm name is the same as in both birth records. This has to be the same family.
