@JacquieHughen JacquieHughen Are you by any chance referring to the FHC Technical Support (North America) monthly zoom meeting for FHC leaders and stake tech support specialists? They have a 1st Thursday meeting, and three different editions (Eastern, Pacific, and Hawaiian time zone at 7:00 P.M.), so I'm wondering if you're referring to that meeting for FH Center Consultants.

@HSVFRN HSVFRN The guidance that was given in another thread said that you can contact FamilySearch Support at their normal telephone support phone number and select Family History Center support. Let them know what your calling is exactly (I'm not exactly sure what you mean by a "TFC leader"). But basically, if you are involved with technical support of a family history center as a FHC leader, stake technical support specialist, high counselor (especially over temple and family history), or probably even a temple and family history consultant assigned to assist in a family history center, the information available in that group would be useful to you.
The support people at FamilySearch Support using the FHC option (#5) should be able to help you, or they can bring a technical support specialist onto the phone call and that person can let you know what the group is and how to join it if your responsibilities pertain to FHC operations. I can't find the original message right at the moment, but that was the basic information in the response by one of the tech support people active in the FHC Tech Support (North America) group here in the FamilySearch Community.

I hope you were able to view the Pacific Time Zone meeting. I was able to watch both for a particular reason, and they both covered pretty much the same good information. Lots of changes, and a need to stand by and be patient as changes are made and rolled out when the proper time comes. Plus lots of good answers to technical questions answered by participants.

RATS! I did not make it for either class (1st of the months is too BUSINESS time), scheduled it then was running late. however Did get a class with a Certified Trainer on thefhguide.com (fabulous)
wish I could find out about the Changes.... (hint, hint) So Excited for the changes!
My day job gets in the way of my Stake calling.

Honestly, I think the best info about changes is to simply stay tuned and watch the FHC tech support group from those that have the official word. If you're not yet a member of that group (and it sounds like you are) you can call FamilySearch Support at the main number, choose option #5 (FHC support) and they can get you into that private group.
Apparently some changes such as the inability for some older Windows 7 machines to function at all within FHCs as early as this month, have been rescinded due to other things they're working on in order to make sure we all have the very best service. A comment was made that some things are being piloted or tested in certain areas, and that North America MAY (emphasis on tentative, not definite) see some of the changes later on, so that other areas that are underserved in terms of internet capabilities and even accessibility are able to be upgraded so we're all able to get the same level of service eventually. But that is just THIS one person's understanding of one out of many things that were discussed. Still, the bottom line is that many people are working very hard behind the scenes to continue to enhance and improve all services, not just family history.
For example, in the not so distant future it was mentioned that satellite dishes on Church buildings would no longer be needed with changes in how things will work. I've also gotten that from a friend with deep connections to Facilities Maintenance (the "FM Group") - that's apparently been known for a while, but with any changes, one small thing can have effects on many other things, so they're rolling things out slowly and testing them in small areas to find glitches before the entire system is disrupted by premature roll out of new technology and other changes. The bottom line is that what all is coming is still going to be better than what we've got now, and in the meantime we've got something now that we could only dream about "just" 30 years ago (time is relative as Einstein and old people have long known LOL!).
Just personally, I think it would be unwise to speculate further about exactly how it will all work, and the details of what's coming - because even those could very easily change depending on the findings of the small test areas - that's what those are for.
What was made clear by both Elder Skinner and Elder Richins (senior FHC tech support people) was that if we've got questions about upgrading computers that are older and especially those that still have Windows 7 on them, our source for the best information is for a stake tech specialist or FHC leader to call FamilySearch Support, select the FHC option (#5), and speak to one of the FHC support missionaries, who can then transfer to a tech support specialist IF needed. The information on computer upgrading and/or replacement has been changing in the past couple of months, and whatever someone was told 2 months ago (or even last month), has been superseded by new procedures and policies. Just call FHC support and they can give you the latest information pertaining to your particular FHC. The limited number of specialized support missionaries assigned to FHC support (option #5) are well trained because many of the questions that will come in to that option will be technical in nature. But they still have other more advanced tech support reps that are "on call" and can be brought into one of our phone calls, to answer questions we've got. So going to "the source" would now be the best place when we've got issues that we need resolved in our own individual FHCs.
In the meantime, we'll continue to get great tips in the monthly Zoom meetings such as all the information about using dual screen monitors (two different monitors hooked up to one computer - a GREAT option for anyone wanting more than just doing a smaller image split-screen on one computer monitor!). That was discussed Thursday night to the delight of a few that had never realized it could be easily done (sometimes with NO additional equipment required besides a spare monitor from an old computer). And Elder Richins has provided additional input in the FHC Tech Support group regarding how to simply use a converter so that one cable can be plugged into an open HDMI port on the back of an FHC computer, and the other end (with a converter plug) can be plugged into the spare monitor. You just obtain an appropriate and easily available converter for VGA, DVI, etc., as appropriate to the monitor you'll be using as the 2nd monitor. But again - if you're not a member of the FHC tech support group and have a calling directly involved with a FHC, call FHC support and they can get you "joined".
Those were some of the highlights I picked up and still remember 4 days later (remember about time, as well as memory for old folks LOL!). 😵
Hope that helps your "hint, hint" curiosity. That same curiosity as well as desire to provide the best service in our FHC is why I also "tune in" to the monthly meetings. Fortunately, I'm retired, so I can schedule it easily.

Thanks so much Chris! Yes we were upgraded to Windows 10 from 7 and simple things like accessing Ancestry Institution was different from 1 day to the next, due to our Building Firewall etc,. Spent a bit of quality time with Tech, and all is good.
We have been using split screens with Ancestry to clean up Trees for some time and personally use Dual Monitors at home (get so much more accomplished).

Note that the zoom meetings are changed to Wednesday, and there are now two of them:
1st Wednesday topic is technical support for centers
3rd Wednesday is for FHC management
Links are found in the FamilySearch Center Technical Support group.
Note that the zoom meetings are the taking of questions only. So each meeting (even on the same night for different time zones) will have different questions answered. However, during the meetings there is a slide show of information that it cycles through. (The slides are available for download after the meetings and change each month)
