Naming the children of a couple

Do the naming of children follow any kind of pattern in Denmark? Do the children tend to be named after the grandparents? This is tradition in the Netherlands but don't know about any of the Scandinavian countries. I know Germany doesn't follow any pattern. Thanks, Ira
