Where are the records for the Rogate Norwegian Lutheran Church that existed in Berlin, Lamoure County, North Dakota located today?

My father was christened in the Rogate Lutheran church located in Berlin, Lamoure County, North Dakota in 1915. This was a Norwegian church that no longer exists. I would like a copy of/transcription of/record of his christening but do not know where the records are archived today.

You might want to research this website at http://www.grhs.org/research/america/ndakota/LaMoure_county_nd.htm. The GRHS is the Germans from Russia Heritage Society. At the website https://edgeleyorlc.com/history/ for Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Edgeley, North Dakota, it states, "In 1984, the church bell from the Rogate Lutheran Church, Berlin, ND, was given to Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church. A Bell Tower was constructed to house the bell and the sign that was erected out front of the church. A dedication service was held in 1985." My sister found the article about the church bell and contacted Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Edgeley. They still have the bell but do not know anything about the records. Not surprising, since they didn't get the bell until 1985: According to your second source the church in Berlin closed down in 1958.

 

But... this is more than I knew a few minutes ago, and it gives me a few more places to contact so I am VERY grateful for your reply!!!!!

The Norwegian Lutheran Synod was organized October 3-7, 1853.  This synod organized 18,000 Norwegian immigrants who had immigrated to southeastern Wisconsin since 1825.  Pastor A. C. Preus was elected as the first synod president.  The synod was founded with the purpose of encouraging the growth of sound, orthodox Lutheranism in America.
