That was a time when many children died from TB and the like! Check the grave sites around those locations.

Thanks I suspect they died very young. I am not able to travel and have tried my best to search cemeteries online with no luck. I looked at their home town, where each parent was born, where grandparents lived etc. Looked around in Michigan as well. The church in Menominee that holds their baptism record will no longer respond to my request for death info. Something about bishop sending orders for no more genealogy requests.

Hi,
You say you have proof of their births?? Could you post a copy of that proof so we can get
a look at it or them? I would love to see this. Don't give up - we won't!

# 2 Also, could you send me the church, (Ward, Stake, etc) and Bishop's name, address & phone # or email? I have an idea.

I got the baptism information for the boys born in Menominee, MI via email from Holy Spirit Church. Original church is St. Anne's Catholic Church it is closed and Holy Spirit Church has all the records. I do not have the Bishops name unfortunately. Here's the contact info of the person I communicated with. Ray Brunner, Secretary, Holy Spirit Church 1016 10th Ave., Menominee, MI 49858. Phone 906-863-5239 ray@holyspiritonline.org.
I've attached baptism info for all 3 boys. Thank you!! Hope your idea works.

You did great! Give me a little time and I will see if I can get into the records. But like I said...it's just an idea. But worth a try.🍁

- I do surprise myself sometimes especially since I'm not a trained genealogist. But I've had help from people like you too, which I so appreciate. I'm learning so much. Sometimes just an idea leads to the answer! Looking forward to what you find, maybe it will be something we never expected. That's the fun part of genealogy it's like solving a puzzle. Thanks again for helping. 😀

Hi there,
You simply need to give me time! I know you are anxious but I am trying to get the information for you from a third party. I have printed out all of the info you have given me and sent it off with a letter on a familySearch signature so it looks more official. I will let you know the minute I hear back. So try to be patient. I am trying every possible way for you. Cheers!

Hello again, I was not allowed to do the thing that I wanted but here are some really great things that I want you to do.
#1-Go to A Billion Graves OR Find A Grave and type in your place of inquiry. Chances one of them have taken photos of their graves. I have found people through them.
#2-Go to FamilySearch.org & sign in. Open 'Historical Records'.
-Navigate to 'Images'
Find the city or town and search through the death records of that area. These records are all digitized but not indexed yet. There are millions of records!
I would be surprised if the '3' are not in there.
Let me know & Good Luck!

Hello, sorry they wouldn't let you do what you wanted. Is there anyway I can do it?
#1 Billion Graves and/or Find A Grave has not worked for me in the past, but I'll try it again.
#2 Family Search, don't believe I've ever been in Historical records. I'll give that a try too.
What makes it difficult is that 2 were born in St. Alexis des monts, Quebec and 1 in Menominee, MI. They went back and forth between the two locations. I have searched both locations for all 3 but had no luck. I'll try again with your suggestions and see what happens.
Thanks again for giving it a try. I do appreciate it. I also appreciate that you kept in touch. I had someone else get all enthusiastic about helping even spoke to them on the phone. Then they dropped out of site and would not respond to any of my messages. You win some and you lose some I guess.
You take care and be safe. I will let you know if I find anything.😊

Well I search the Family Search historical records as you told me. I searched under St. Alexis des monts where one of the 3 children was born and where the family lived. I also searched where the parents were born since they were not far from St. Alexis. Then I went to Menominee, MI records where the parents lived for a time in their travels back and forth from Canada to US. Nothing!!! I even kept my eye out for miss spellings.
I fear I have to give up on this and move on. But in my heart of hearts I can imagine it not being recorded somewhere.
Billions of graves and Find a Grave I tried again and nothing there either.
So that's my sad update. We tried. 😔
