Translation Help of death entry note
This is the death record of Jöns Andersson, who died 14 Feb 1852.
Genarp (M) CI:5 (1839-1861) Pg 720
I am looking for some help with the remark. I have it as
"Drunknat i en gropard Genarp ock enligt Härads Rättens Utslag begrafs i stillhet."
Which google translates as "Drowned in a pit Genarp and according to the District Courts ruling buried in silence." Doesn't seem like that could be correct.
Also, what do you read as the burial date? (Is it really three weeks after death?)
Also, does it say he is 56 years and two thirds of a year old? Or is he 56 years, three months, and two days old?
Thank you in advance!

You got it right. He died in some pit/hollow/cavity/hole in Genarp and court ruling said that they could not announce it. Usually they announced death and burial in church so in silence means that they did not do that.
He died at 14 Feb and was buried at 9 March at age of 56 2/3 years (8 months)
This is my thought that when he drowned none knew about it and they found him later and then his body was so badly damaged that they could no give the proper send out. I am not sure if this is correct. Only way to be sure is to find that court's ruling.
