Translation of Marriage Surety
I am curious if William Tisdale was truly the father of Margery or not. The London Marriage Licenses state that Thomas, a Yeoman, was the father of Margery, and the marriage was 2 Oct 1619. I don't see a Thomas even mentioned in this document. I have her spouse as Edmund Nicholas. Is it possible there was a second document and if so how would I access this information?

I'm unable to read the document you posted, so I'm sorry I can't answer your question. However, I would suggest that you arrange a consultation with a research specialist in the Family History Library. Here's a link: https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/Engage_with_the_Family_History_Library_Online

The document shown here clearly shows WILLIAM was Margerie's father and, as you say, Edmund Nicholas the intended spouse. If the "London Marriage Licenses" document / index you appear to have seen that mentions "Thomas" as her father, this could involve an incorrect transcription of the first name. I don't think you should necessarily expect to locate any further document relating to this matter.

By the way, did you find these records in Find My Past? I do not have a subscription, but after writing the above found two links (which I cannot access, of course) to images relating to the marriage licence. They might both lead to the same document / page but if you have not checked this out it will be worth investigating.
(I typed Margerie Tisdale of Middlesex, England on the search page and entered the keyword "Edmund" on the Advanced Options page. I was surprised how easy this was to find. As you probably know, Edmund Nicholas was of Uxbridge in Middlesex, where the marriage possibly took place, if not at St Giles in the Field.)

Yes I had looked at those documents. The first was from Boyd’s aerials index and all it says is that Margery married Edmund Nicolas. Place Uxbridge London. The second document was for a Deirdre M Tisdall in 2003-5.
I agree i would think the document I found with William as her father is most likely the most accurate. Thanks I just wanted a second professional opinion. Sue
