Cause of death translation request

Here is a great example of duplicate records being altered in transcription. The original death record for Erik Albin born 24 May 1885 in Lane-Ryr gives his surname as ANDREASSON and the cause of death as Höftsjuka (hip disease). I went to the duplicate recording of the deaths for 1907 in Lane-Ryr and the parish clerk/priest entered Erik Albin as ANDERSSON. and the cause of death as Långvarift Verklidan[??]. This is where I need the help. I believe it is telling me the cause of death was chronic rheumatism or joint disease. Can someone help me transcribe the second word?

Andreasson and Andersson are interchangeable and basicly they mean same name.

Höftsjuka is usually a tuberculotic hip injury or that sort of hip disease. Lång varift verklidande means that he died after long time suffering.

Yes, I understand the surname spellings are interchangable. I find it interesting that what is supposed to be a duplicate transcription is not - and a good reminder to always look at the original. Thank you for the explaination of the cause of death!
