Still struggling to put all the pieces together....when did Anders Eliasson and Maria Andersdotter really get married?

See attached images. First is the clerical survey from 1836-1940.

At the end of Anders line it says 18/10 40 wed Maria. Does this mean they wed 18 October 1840?

At the end of Maria's line it says 5/10 40 wed S(son) Anders ?se supra?

 

Second, look at the marriage record itself. What are all these dates? When did they really get married?

 

18/10 (18 October/ No. 5/ Dr. Anders Eliasson from Tegen and pigan Maja Andersdotter, same. / 12/12 40 (12 December 1840) by banns.

18/10 (18 October)/ #5

and they were married at 12 Dec 1840.
