The father's name is Johannes Olsen Næfv (?) and the mother is Syneve Markusdatter Arnefjord. The Næfv is mentioned repeatedly in the witness/godparents column.

They match this couple in the 1875 Census: https://www.digitalarkivet.no/en/census/person/pf01052300000892 .

Also here in the 1865 Census: https://www.digitalarkivet.no/en/census/person/pf01038253002923 .

Here's another opinion for you. The parents are Johannes Olsen Næse and his wife Syneve Markusdatter who are living at the Næse farm. You can see that the lower case S in Olsen and Næse look the same. The E at the end of Næse is pretty sloppy, but when you look through the list of godparents, you will see that a couple of them clearly are E.

The farm is currently spelled Nese and is located here:

If you look at the very end of the listing for the parents, you will see the word Sogn. This means the priest recorded which sub-parish or church in Vik the christening took place. The name Arnefjord just before that is the name of the Sogn, not the wife's surname or farm name. If you look directly north of Nese on the map you will see Arnafjord Kyrke (Arnafjord church) marked. That is where Birthe was christened.

The last name of the wife is not Arnafjord by the way, but is written Arnafjord parish, indicating in which parish they lived. There is a very nice piece about it at Wikipedia with a lovely picture of the church.

Arnafjord Church (Norwegian: Arnafjord kyrkje) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Vik Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Nese, along the Arnafjorden. It is the church for the Arnafjord parish which is part of the Sogn prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The white, wooden church was built in a long church style in 1880. The master builder John Gjertsen from Sogndal made the designs, while builder Anders Korsvold was responsible for the construction. The church seats about 180 people

Sister Dalebout, The farm is Nese, spelled Næse in the record and located in Arnafjord parish. You can see it relative to the parish boundaries by going to norwayparishes.com, County: Sogn of Fjordane, Parish: Arnafjord, Property/Farm: Nese. The link below shows it also. From this site you can also see an areal photo. Have fun with this.
