Help translating a German birth record

This record is a little different. I think it is a stillbirth as there is no child's name listed and I suspect the mother died too, as the father remarried a few months later.
The record is the first one on this page, numbered with an "*". I can read the father's name, "Colonus L. Steinhorst". Is "Colonus" a title? I've seen "Colon" after his name in other records. Many thanks!

"Colonus" and "colon" are Latin. They both mean: farmer or settler.

Isn't pretty much everyone in a small German village in the 1820s a farmer? Does Colonus designate more, a farmer who owns land or something? I don't see Colon showing up on every record, only a few and then it seems to include another word which could be a farm name.
In most of his other children's birth record, the father's name is listed as "Herm. Dieckmann or L. Steinhorst, Colon"

Ernest Thode, German-English Genealogical Dictionary, defines both "colonus" and "colon" as:
"farmer (on a full-sized farm); settler".
Yes, the "full-sized farm" would be indicative of land-ownership.
