@jenniferjeannelanning1 jenniferjeannelanning1 Map my ancestors on the iOS Tree app does not have a setting to change how many generations show. But, you can search for a specific ancestor (just below the map is the search box) by name or ID and thereby see ancestors more than 6 generations back on the map.

@jenniferjeannelanning1 jenniferjeannelanning1 I do not use iOS on a mobile device. I am an Android user myself, except when it comes to computers. Go figure. However, even on a computer you can only view 6 or 7 generations on the tree. I think because of how wide the branches get after that point. But in conjunction with what @N Tychonievich mentioned, you could start the tree at you, go view your 6 generations, and then select the ancestor you wish to view more generation branches from by selecting the tree view for that individual.
Too bad our world technology is limited still, but I know we will get there eventually.

Thank you--I greatly prefer the web based to the app, but that is mainly because I have to squint to see the tiny screen on the app. But the app is handy, and it is what nearly all the kids in my life use, so it is good to know how to get the most out of it!
