I need help figuring out the name of the deceased in record #294 of a register in 1905 Lutzk Volhyni
I'm seeing it says the daughter of Eduard Radom and his wife Rosine Hessler of Chwoika. When I type the Russian letters into google translate it looks like the first words of the entry are "deceased before us." Is the age at death 24 hours and perhaps she wasn't named? But that doesn't make sense where it shows born on the 13th and baptized on the 15th. I'm reading something wrong. I'd appreciate your help!
Thank you!
Susanne

Hi Susanne!
This one is a bit confusing. The entry reads "Before the holy baptism deceased daughter of Eduard Radom and his wife Rosine Hessler..."
The dates in the column are actually the dates of death and of the burial. So she died on the 13th and was buried on the 15th.
You are correct, she did only live twenty four hours. She died of судорош (convulsions).

Thank you - Of course it is death and burial! I've been looking at so many births and must have had a brain blip! And thanks for translating the beginning of the entry. I sure appreciate you help!!
