3 Missing siblings!
I am hoping someone can help or send me in the right direction. I am researching my grandmother's family and in my research I discovered that she had 2 brothers born in Menominee, MI, before her birth in Menominee as well.
I have been able to get proof of baptism from Holy Spirit church in Menominee. At the time they were baptized in St. Ann's French Catholic Church. Holy Spirit church now holds these records. I have been trying to obtain death records for these children, however, due to a ruling by the bishop they are no longer able to respond to genealogy requests. Here are the vital stats for the children:
Joseph Mariam Lachance (sometimes spelled Lachanse) baptized 22 February 1889, St. Ann's, Menominee, MI
Alfred Lachance baptized 18 January 1891, St. Ann's, Menominee, MI
Parents: Isaac (Isaie) Lachance and Celine Duhaime. Both parents born in Canada.
There is also another brother Sylvio Alfred Lachance he was born in St. Alexis des monts, Québec, Canada, baptized 22 March 1887. Not sure if he ever lived in Menominee with the family.
The family moved back and forth between Canada and Michigan for several years. I have searched high and low for evidence of these children after their birth with no luck. They are not included in any family census records beyond their birth (with the exception of the 1891 Canadian census where Joseph appears at 1 year old).

Is your grandma, or any of the siblings in the FamilySearch Family Tree? If so, what are their ID Numbers. With the limited information that has been provided you may need to look at records for your Grandmother to see if there is any additional information that may lead you to her siblings. Have you seen an obituary for your grandmother? If so, does it mention her siblings. Have you seen your grandmother's marriage certificate? It might list witnesses to the marriage that might be her siblings.
I have refereed this to the Midwest Group @Midwest as they may be able to help you when you provide some of the information identified above.

I do not have a tree on family search site. It’s on Ancestry.com. It’s funny but I was just thinking I have to add all my grandmother’s siblings to the tree and here you are mentioning the tree. I have been lazy with that part of things. Also right now my laptop is in repair so working off my iPad is not ideal. The siblings I am looking for do not appear anywhere else after their birth, which I have confirmation of. I have my grandmother’s marriage record and it only mentioned her parents.
Thank you so much for passing this on for me. In the meantime I am contacting courthouses and such something has to turn up somewhere. 😃

Don't be too hard on yourself, family history is a lifetime of discovery. I hope that your are considering creating a FamilySearch Family Tree in addition to your Ancestry.com tree. I search for your missing siblings in Ancestry Public Trees, is it possible that your tree is a Private Tree? Were these siblings born in Canada or Michigan?

My ancestry tree should be public, I think? It’s called Boucher-Lachance family tree. 2 of them were born in Menominee, MI and one in St. Alexis des monts, Québec, Canada.
