Hello William! What can you tell us about your family? If you share some information about the people that you know, we can probably make some suggestions for how to find your people.
What are the names, dates, and places that tell the parts of your family story that you know? Sometimes people don't have a lot of family information to start with, but we are researchers and we can uncover a lot with some basic clues.
Let's see what this Midwest group can find for you. Please share what you know!

I am trying to find my family lineage. I can find the beginning of it. James Simpson b. 1537 d.? His wife Isobel Henderson b. 1541 d? Both were born and died in Dunfremline Fife, Scotland. From there to my great grandfather, it's all mumble jumbo. My great grandfather was Richard Simpson b. 1860 d. 1933. He was born in Indiana. He was married to a Sarah Bowers on April 11, 1886. He died in Carthage, Missouri, and is buried along with my grandfather John Fredrick Simpson and with my father Robert Max Simpson, in Park Cemetery. John Fredrick was b. 1902 d. 1969 Robert Max was b. 1927 d. 2005 Both my grandfather and father were born in Carthage, Missouri. I'm sorry but this is the information that I have available to me. Thank you for any and all your help. P.S. I'm not quite sure but I do believe my great grandfather's father's name was John Simpson, but don't he old me to that. William Simpson Joplin, Missouri
