Just to make sure I'm not going crazy: The correct phrasing is "of Dutch ancestry" and not "of Netherlands ancestry", right?

I've update the "User Dutch" template in the wiki, to say that people are of "Dutch ancestry" instead of "Netherlands ancestry". But, I'm starting to doubt myself, as I'm not a native English speaker.

Yes, it should be "of Dutch ancestry". You are correct.

No doubt it should be 'of Dutch ancestry.' You cannot be of 'Netherlands ancestry.' You need the adjective, not the name of the country.
