American Revolutionary War British Side. I have a Ancestor James McCauley who served when the Queen Rangers and then Later for the Patriots cause. Does family search have the records for the British. In his notes are the Queen Ranger information. I found him owning land in Canada. I know he was Queen Rangers as a buddy in Queen Rangers by Name McCray notes him. Then turned and married into McCauley family. I like to see if family search had records for British side so can see where he listed in Canada more and into Scotland. There was only one James McCauley in Queen Rangers for Time period so has to be him.

@Billie Keaffaber i started researching my Rev war ancestors a couple months ago and I found it fascinating! I also found a love for history! There is a site called revwarapps (just type that in google) they have transcribed records for the pension files there for the American soldiers, but they also have lots of links to other things Rev war related, you may be able to find something there. I found a site devoted to British Rev war soldiers the other day, not sure why I didnt save it but one does exist! A quick google search may take you straight to it! Good luck!

Also, I would say there are probably some friends in the following groups that could help you in your research too:

Hope you find all the information you are looking for!
